Limerick Township
Data Center Development Project
Limerick and other nearby residents:
Limerick Township is partnering with SpringFord Area School District to host two April public meetings.
The April 9 Planning Commission Conditional Use Hearing reviewing data centers will take place at the 9th Grade Center at 6:30pm.
The April 14 Board of Supervisors meeting will be held at SpringFord High School at 6:30pm.
There will be a livestream, but I don’t know if the link will be the usual link.
the Limerick Township website will be updated with information, including parking. So watch and subscribe.
The Limerick Township staff and board said to contact them with questions. You can email them Info@LimerickPA.org or call them (610) 495-6432. I have called them twice in the past week. Each time a nice person helped me.
A while back I emailed the Board of Supervisors, and the township manager emailed me back and copied them.
You can also submit right to know requests, but I would start with a call or email if you have questions and are trying to understand where things are or how to participate.
Show up, participate, and if you are eligible, make a public comment. You must make your comment at the meeting for it to be on the legal record I learned this week. So you can still email, but if you want your comment noted, then show up for the entire hearing, and comment at the end. I think public comments are 2 minutes.
According to the staff at Limerick Township, together they are working on a plan to host future meetings of these kind at the school.
More to follow on how to participate and why, as this data center situation is developing in a daily basis (no bad pun intended).
In other news Liv is limping and tired, so I am taking Baby Girl in to get checked.
